W-Type Collets (W15, W20, W25) for 5-Axis CNC Tool Grinders
Pull-back W-type collets with smooth bore for clamping tool blanks on high-precision 5-axis CNC tool grinders. Sizes W15, W20, W25; bore D from 1.00 mm, custom sizes available.
FEYANA W-type collets are pull-back collets for clamping carbide tool blanks on 5-axis CNC tool grinding machines. The drawbar pulls the collet back into its seat to clamp the part.
Features
- The metric diameter of the external thread is almost the same as the collet shank diameter.
- Recommended for high-precision five-axis grinding machines.
- Very small opening: holds metric diameters only. For best concentricity, do not clamp parts more than 0.1 mm below the nominal size.
- Smooth bore; sealing grooves can be machined on request.
- D = 1.00–2.99 mm available on request, accuracy approx. 0.015 mm.
