Liebherr Marine Electric Motors & Generators (KGF, KDF)

Liebherr electric motors and generators serve main drives, thrusters, winches and other auxiliaries on board, with excellent efficiency in continuous and variable-speed duty and top-level protection classes and insulation systems. Liebherr-Components (Liebherr Group) builds large-diameter bearings, gearboxes, electric motors, hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic motors and power electronics at ten production sites, working with classification societies such as ABS, BV, DNV and LR.

KGF and KDF series motors drive planetary plug-in gearboxes, rope winches, crane slewing and offshore access bridges, with high power density, seawater-resistant paint, high positioning accuracy and low maintenance.
