BSAB 120
An active brake where oil pressure needs to be applied – in order to brake. There are no springs in this kind of caliper. This brake can provide clamping force up to 542,000 N. The BSAB brakes are multi piston Dual-Action brakes with integrated and fixed pad holders.
The BSAB120 Yaw Brake is a hydraulic applied active brake with a tight fit between the brake pad and brake with no need for springs. With the capability to generate a high and adjustable clamping force, these brakes are multi-piston units that feature integrated and fixed pad holders making it ideal for yaw brake systems in Wind Turbines.
