3Wtape J20 self-amalgamating rubber tape for insulating and waterproofing 6–10 kV cable joints; 0.8 mm, elongation over 300%, tensile 1.53 MPa, 105 °C emergency overload.
3Wtape J20 (3Wtape-HighVoltage10KV-J20) is a self-amalgamating insulating mastic tape for overhead and direct-buried electrical connections.
It stretches and conforms, and is waterproof, corrosion and chemical resistant. On cable ends it seals out water at continuous operating temperatures up to 90 °C and insulates cable connections up to 10 kV when jacketed with vinyl tape.

How to apply
- Remove the release film and stretch to about 300% of original length
- Wrap 3 or 5 layers, half-lapped
- Finish with at least 2 layers of PVC electrical tape
