The BS series Cam Clutch was developed for inclined belt conveyors and bucket elevators in mining and other industries to prevent runback on power or system failure. Precision-formed non-roll-over cams stay in contact with the races for instantaneous holding without backlash.

Series	Features and applications
MG	Intermediate shaft or head pulley on small discharge conveyors and transfer chutes; grease or oil; gearbox backstopping
BR (Lift Off)	Cams lift off by centrifugal force with no contact when overrunning; high-speed inner race; dewatering and filtration pumps
BS	Low speed, high torque; instant hold, low noise, easy maintenance, long life, compact; head shaft pulley of incline/decline conveyors
BS-HS	Full-complement cam cage with bearing-supported races; higher loads and speeds than BS, often one size smaller; super conveyors
Double cam cage BS-HS / MA	Standard on BS425HS, BS450HS; MA flanges replace previous units using existing torque arms
