The TURMASOL 6B combustor is a can-type combustor assembly for 6B-class industrial gas turbines, made from heat-resistant alloy sheet through forming, ring welding, hole machining, heat treatment and non-destructive testing.

Manufacturer: TURMASOL (Turmasol Co., Ltd.), Korea, founded January 2012, factories in Gimhae, Gyeongsangnam-do, specialising in precision sheet-metal components in heat-resistant alloys. FEYANA supplies TURMASOL products in Vietnam to customer drawings and technical requirements.

Function

The combustor mixes fuel with compressed air and burns it stably, feeding hot gas to the transition piece and turbine; it is a hot-section part replaced on overhaul intervals.

Fabrication process
