TURMASOL dome combustor

The TURMASOL dome combustor is the annular front dome of a combustor, made from heat-resistant alloy sheet with a ring of holes machined to hold the fuel injection hardware and admit air into the combustion zone.

Manufacturer: TURMASOL (Turmasol Co., Ltd.), Korea, founded January 2012, factories in Gimhae, Gyeongsangnam-do, specialising in precision sheet-metal components in heat-resistant alloys. FEYANA supplies TURMASOL products in Vietnam to customer drawings and technical requirements.

The dome locates the fuel injectors, distributes air into the front of the combustor and takes direct heat from the flame; hole position accuracy affects temperature distribution in the combustor.

Fabrication process
